I hate tourists. I truly do. Ok sometimes they are really nice.
But…
Can somebody explain it to me why people who are totally normal, ordinary people on the grey weekdays becoming complete idiots if they are going abroad (or if they are visiting the town nearby)?
Can somebody explain why people have to stop to wonder around in the exact geometrical middle of the pavements? Why they can not queue up as they boarding the busses or the trains? Why they can not use them common sense? Or be at least a little bit more polite?
I understand if we are on holiday we have to be a little bit crazy. We can be a little bit more drunk in the evenings as we normally would be on our free weekends, and can be a little bit louder as the others (others=the folks of the visited place). But do we have to be complete idiots? Should we write it on our foreheads that we are not from the town? Should we shout it out loud: “Hey look at me I’m a tourist!”
I need a little favour from all of you dear visitors! If you wish to stop on the pavement to wonder around please do it on the side! (At least we ordinary people don’t have to stop and won’t be late from work. I know that it is really odd, but in the city what you are visiting for fun are people working - actually a lot of them. And we can not be late.) If you don’t know where you are ask a police officer! They are everywhere and they are extremely helpful. And anyway, don’t act like a completely idiot! You might be a tourist and you won’t be coming back ever again, but trust me you are ridiculous and you are making our life much harder. Just try to act like other people do, try to be as you are at home! And last but not least please use you common sense!
Thank you!
